How to use any AWOS Subscription Service

To access your subscription:

  1. Call 877-any-AWOS
  2. If you are calling from the number you specified when you signed up, the system will automatically recognize you as a subscriber.
  3. If you are calling from a different phone than specified in your user profile, or if your caller id is not recognized for some reason, you will be asked to enter your 10 digit subscriber phone number followed by your 4 digit PIN. Then you will be able to access your subscription.

For Premium subscribers:

  • At the main menu, press 1 for AWOS's, press 2 for forecasts (TAFs)
  • To listen to multiple airports:
    • press # at any time during your call, and you will be prompted to enter another airport id -- for either AWOS's or TAF's
    • press * at any time to return to the main menu (switch back and forth between TAF's and AWOS's)
  • If your selected AWOS is busy:
    • you can elect to wait, and the system will try again, or
    • press # to try another AWOS, or
    • press * to get to the main menu so you can get TAFs
  • To access your custom favorite airports list:
    • Press 001 when asked for an airport id.
    • You will then get the list of airports you specified on your user preferences web page.
