How to Select an any AWOS Location

When you enter a 3 character airport ID on your phone, you will get a list of airports which match the sequence you keyed in.

The list will be in order of distance to your home airport. Choose the airport from the list, and you will be connected. NOTE: Since this webpage does not know your home airport, choices here are listed in alphabetical order. When you call, they will likely be in a different order.

Example: You want to call O'Hare airport in Chicago.

ORD is the airport ID.

1. Press 6 for 'O'.
2. Press 7 for 'R'.
3. Press 3 for 'D'.

You then get a list of 6 airports. O'Hare is number 4 in the list (alphabetically), so on the phone you would press 4.
